Defensive End: Da’Quan Bowers

At the time when Da’Quan Bowers signed with Clemson, he was the highest-rated recruit in Tiger history.

Bowers was the No. 1 player in the nation and had all kinds of promise coming into Tiger Town.

He started six of the 13 games as a freshman and really took the next step during his sophomore season, where he totaled 46 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss and three sacks despite an injury.

During his junior season, Bowers led the nation in sacks and earned the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, which is given to the nation’s best defensive player. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers following that season.
