2. Staff Continuity/Understanding

Though it stands to reason that Brent Venables, Tony Elliott and Jeff Scott will all want to be head coaches at some point in their career, it’s clear that Dabo Swinney has develop a culture in which staff members want to stay.

It’s not just about being together for a long time.

Dabo Swinney invests in his staff and makes the working environment a place in which they want to be. Because of that, there’s great continuity and understanding when it comes to the goals in the program.

When Venables, Elliott or Scott do leave, Swinney already has their replacements lined up. It’s a well-oiled machine that helps build a culture of winning and chemistry within the program.
