5. Nick Saban is making excuses

The king of the College Football world for the past decade has been Alabama, led by Nick Saban.

Though we believe that Saban still has wins left in him, there are subtle signs that the Crimson Tide may be taking a dip in terms of the program.

Saban has been fueling and making excuses for Alabama’s 44-16 loss to Clemson in the National Championship game. It’s certainly not the same Saban we saw a couple of years ago who made no excuses and instead pushed his team to get better.

With those excuses and distractions so prevalent in the program, could Alabama be in the early stages of losing the reins? It won’t happen overnight, but the Crimson Tide certainly don’t seem to have the ‘domination factor’ that they once possessed just a year or two ago.
