5-star Clemson football QB commit DJ Uiagalelei will be featured on national television to open up his final season of high school football.
5-star Clemson football QB commit DJ Uiagalelei will be featured on national television to open up the high school football season.
Uiagalelei, who committed to the Tigers back in the spring, will lead St. John Bosco (CA) against DeMatha (Md) at 9 p.m. on Saturday, August 24. The game will be broadcasted live on ESPN 2. St. John Bosco currently holds the No. 2 national ranking while DeMatha is ranked No. 24.
Interestingly enough, one of the top prospects on DeMatha’s team is 4-star RB Marshawn Lloyd, who is committed to South Carolina.
Clemson football fans will be able to watch the game live and get a glimpse into what Uiagalelei is capable of becoming whenever he arrives on campus in just a few months. Uiagalelei has an extremely strong arm and is capable of developing into a No. 1 overall pick in a future NFL Draft.
When watching his film, there’s actually reason to believe that his arm is just as strong as Trevor Lawrence’s. Considering there are only a handful of quarterbacks in the country with arm strength that powerful- and they’re all in the NFL other than Lawrence- he should be a fun prospect to watch early in August.
In addition to watching Uiagalelei compete, Clemson football fans might be interested in seeing Hammond School take on Southern Columbia at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 25 on ESPN 2. Hammond is led by 5-star DE target Jordan Burch, who is considering several schools including Clemson and South Carolina.
Southern Columbia’s top prospect is 5-star WR Julian Fleming, who was considered a target by Clemson for quite some time before he committed to Ohio State over the Tigers, Alabama and Penn State.
