5-star Clemson football DE commit Bryan Bresee is absolutely dominating offensive linemen at The Opening Finals and it’s been fun to watch.

Bryan Bresee is proving why he is considered a consensus top-five player in the nation.

The Clemson football commit is one of many competing in the finals of The Opening in Frisco, Texas this week.

After watching reps and seeing defensive linemen compete in drills and go against offensive linemen, it’s clear that Bresee is just heads and shoulders better than the rest of his counterparts on the defensive line.

He has been able to blow past offensive linemen with his explosiveness and athleticism, but has also used strength and power to win reps, as well.

Bresee has lined up at both defensive tackle and defensive end during the drills and has looked impressive in both roles.

In the final highlight video below, we see Bresee line up at defensive end and go one-on-one with Georgia commit Tate Ratledge, who is considered the No. 5 offensive tackle in the nation.

Bresee won the first rep and Ratledge won the second rep when the spin move didn’t work for Bresee. In the last rep, it depends who you ask, but it would be my opinion that Bresee won the rep because it was massive holding by Ratledge.

Bresee projects as a defensive tackle at the next level. He is reminiscent of a JJ Watt and will be able to use that explosiveness and pure athleticism to combine with his size and strength to be a force on the defensive line. He’ll line up at both the end spot and the tackle position when he gets to Clemson.

In addition to Bresee, fellow defensive line commits Tre Williams and Demonte Capehart are both competing in The Opening Finals. The Tigers have the most commits participating in the finals out of any program in the nation.
