3. CJ Spiller (2009)

CJ Spiller was one of the most explosive and speedy running backs in the history of Clemson football. He was able to get the job done in the backfield, as well as catching passes and returning kicks and punts.

Spiller decided to come back his senior season and led the Tigers to the ACC Championship. They ultimately lost to Georgia Tech, but it was clear that night that Spiller was more than just a great running back, he was one of the greatest all-time in Clemson history.

He finished that 2009 season with 1,212 yards on 216 carries and 12 rushing touchdowns. He also had 503 yards receiving and four touchdowns.

Spiller was a one-man show for much of that season when it came to the offense and he single-handedly made plays to keep the Tigers in games.
