Clemson Football: 5 Reasons Dabo Swinney deserves a statue immediately

3. He doesn’t want one

Another great reason that Swinney deserves a statue immediately is because he doesn’t want one.

Dabo Swinney doesn’t want to be recognized for his greatness and he constantly reminds people of the great staff that he has around him.

Any time that Swinney is interviewed after a big win, he is quick to give credit to God, his staff and his players.

Though he has reached the pinnacle of success for Clemson football, Swinney doesn’t let the spotlight that shines on him become too bright. Instead, he continues to remain humble and remember where he came from.
