Dabo Swinney has done unprecedented things with the Clemson football program over the past decade. The current coach deserves a statue.

The Clemson football program wouldn’t be where it is today without the leadership and direction of Dabo Swinney.

Swinney took over a program in shambles and gave Tiger fans hope. Though it didn’t come overnight, Swinney continued to develop the program stage-by-stage until Clemson football had become a national brand.

After winning a second National Championship last year, Swinney has Clemson football set up in good position to repeat and certainly be back in the CFB Playoff.

Here are five reasons why Dabo Swinney deserves a statue outside of Death Valley and why it should happen immediately.
