Wide Receivers

Boundary- Tee Higgins

  • Joe Ngata or
  • Diondre Overton

Slot- Diondre Overton or Cornell Powell

  • TJ Chase
  • Brannon Spector

Field– Justyn Ross

  • Derion Kendrick or
  • Frank Ladson

Amari Rodgers suffered an ACL tear in spring practice that will sideline him from action for the vast majority of the season. Rodgers was expected to play in the slot.

With him gone, I think you’ll see a platoon effort between Diondre Overton and Cornell Powell as starters. Overton will also still play the boundary at times.

Derion Kendrick will be listed as a cornerback, but he will also be on the wide receiver depth chart, most likely sharing playing time with freshman Frank Ladson.
