Quarterbacks

Starter: Trevor Lawrence

  • Chase Brice
  • Taisun Phommachanh or
  • Ben Batson

The quarterback pecking order is pretty clearly defined heading into the 2019 Clemson football season. Trevor Lawrence is the starter and Chase Brice is the second-string. Behind them, I think we’ll see an ‘or’ situation between freshman Taisun Phommachanh and Ben Batson.

Phommachanh will likely redshirt this season, but he still will play in up to four games due to the new redshirt rule.
