3. OKLAHOMA

Oklahoma checks in here. The Sooners lost Marquise Brown, the 25th overall selection in Thursday’s NFL draft, but starter Lamb(65 receptions, 1158 yards, 17.8 per reception, 11 touchdowns) is inherently, a future pro himself.

Lamb, Morris(21, 457, 21.8, 8) Haselwood, Wease and Bridges form a solid group that will catch balls from former Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Hurts was an efficient passer at Alabama, but only averaged five pass attempts in his final season. In Lincoln Riley’s offense, he can expect to get over 25 attempts like his predecessors Heisman Trophy winners Baker Mayfield and Kyle Murray. Hurts’s ability to retain the offensive playbook and establish cohesion with his receivers will determine if the Sooners are worthy of this spot.
