5. The Best is yet to come

This phrase can be found plastered all over Clemson football for many years.

From the time that Dabo Swinney took over the program, he has constantly preached that the best is yet to come.

There have been t-shirts made with the phrase and it has continued to come true over and over and over again.

The Tigers went from a team that barely made a bowl game to a competitor in the ACC. Clemson had several 10-game winning seasons and then took the next step of getting to the National Championship game.

After that, Clemson got back and won the National Championship game in 2016. The Tigers won yet another National Championship this past year in dominant fashion, defeating Alabama 44-16.
