7. New team, same dream

We’ll start with a built of a throwback.

‘New team, same dream’ was a phrase thrown out by Dabo Swinney before the start of the 2016 season.

The Tigers had just come up short in the 2015 National Championship game against Alabama and were looking for retribution.

Despite there being some new pieces, Swinney said that this was a “new team with the same dream.” The Clemson football program has always lived by dreaming and staying on task by restarting every single year and building up the foundation from start-to-finish.
