1. Banks McFadden

Banks McFadden, the legendary hall of famer, tops off our list.

McFadden- like Adams and Watkins- was taken with the No. 4 overall pick in the NFL Draft, but was selected nearly three quarter centuries beforehand.

He was selected by the Brooklyn Dodgers in the 1940 draft.

McFadden had success that season with the Dodgers, but ultimately decided that he liked small town life and decided to retire from football after just one year in the NFL.
