Clemson football has one of the best quarterback rooms in the nation with the duo of Trevor Lawrence and Chase Brice coming into the 2019 season.

The Clemson football team has serious depth at quarterback heading into the 2019 season.

The Tigers return Trevor Lawrence for his sophomore campaign. All Lawrence did as a freshman was win the starting job outright four games into the season, lead the Tigers to an ACC Championship and defeat Alabama in the National Championship game by a score of 44-16.

Lawrence is one of the favorites to win the Heisman Trophy coming into this season and is considered one of the top two quarterbacks in the nation. If anyone watched the National Championship game and paid attention, they’ll tell you that Trevor Lawrence is the best quarterback in the nation and is going to be the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft a couple of years from now.

Not only does Clemson football have the best quarterback in the country, though.

The Tigers have the best backup quarterback in the country. Most likely, Clemson doesn’t win a National Championship in 2018 without Chase Brice.

Everyone remembers the moment that Trevor Lawrence went down with an injury against Syracuse. Brice came and grew up before our very eyes. It took him a couple of quarters to get into a rhythm, but he was lights out and completely clutch in the fourth quarter, leading the Tigers to a come-from-behind victory.

The picture of his confidence was most clearly on display on a 4th down pass with the game on the line. He found Tee Higgins near the sideline and delivered a perfect ball.

Brice would be a starter for a lot of Power-Five programs, but he is choosing to stay in Clemson to stick out his commitment and make the team better.

Those two guys comprise the best quarterback room in the nation. There’s no other program in the nation that has two legitimate starting quarterbacks on its roster heading into 2019. At least, not like Clemson.

When you throw in the fact that the Tigers also have 4-star freshman Taisun Phommachanh behind Lawrence and Brice, it’s scary just how good Clemson is at that quarterback position.
