Round 5

The Cleveland Browns will focus on the defense since their offense is set to become one of the NFL’s elite units. Safety and linebacker will be the two key positions they must address, so former Clemson football LB Tre Lamar (6’-4”, 250 pounds) will be a player to consider at pick number 170.

Plus, the Browns cut one of their outside backers this off-season so they are looking for a capable replacement. One word to describe Lamar is physical with better than average closing speed.

He will need to work on his coverage skills and is likely to become a special teams player at first, but is a quick learner and should become a nickel or dime LB in some packages at first.
