5. Tyler Davis

Let’s start with a guy that you probably didn’t pay much attention to unless you were specifically looking for him.

Tyler Davis didn’t fill up the stat sheet or come away with a monster amount of tackles for loss or sacks, but he was still very effective.

There were several times that he pushed the center off the ball and created pressure up the middle. Despite being a bit smaller at defensive tackle, Davis plays big and has huge explosiveness.

He lived up to the hype that was bestowed upon him throughout the spring and we’re going to see a lot of the freshman this coming season.
