Clemson Football: Several top 2020 targets predicted to Tigers
After a weekend that featured a ton of top prospects coming to town, Clemson football has picked up several predictions in its favor.
There’s nothing definite when it comes to recruiting. But, one sure thing right now is the fact that Clemson football is in good position with several elite prospects.
During the annual Clemson football spring game, the Tigers hosted several top prospects from the 2020 class that could become potential signees.
5-star DJ Uiagalelei headlined the visitors, alongside 5-star DE Bryan Bresee, 5-star DB Fred Davis, 4-star WR EJ Williams, 5-star RB Demarkcus Bowman and 4-star DB RJ Mickens, who committed to the Tigers over the weekend.
Following what may have been one of the most important weeks of the year for the 2020 Clemson football recruiting, several more crystal balls were put in for the top prospects.
Here’s a look at some of the notes from the weekend:
- Crystal Balls
New crystal balls were put in in favor of Clemson for 5-stars Demarkcus Bowman and Fred Davis. Both of those guys have been heavy Tiger leans for a while and it will be interesting to see how their recruitment goes.
With Bowman choosing to come to Clemson’s spring game over Florida State’s, it really shows the pull that the Tigers have for the 5-star running back.
- Fred Davis ready to announce
Fred Davis, a 5-star according to Rivals and a 4-star according to 247, will announce his decision tonight at 9 p.m.
He is deciding between several schools, including Clemson, Auburn, Florida State, Miami, Ohio State and Alabama. With that being said, Davis is heavily favored to choose Clemson tonight. He’s coming off a visit to Tiger Town and seemingly is ready to commit and become one of the next members of this 2020 class.
- A great time had by all
Whether it’s Uiagalelei, Bresee or any of the other recruits, it’s going to be hard to say no to Clemson football.
From all accounts, everyone had a great time and the spring game was a massive success. It’s a credit to the Tigers to be able to get 60,000 in the stadium and be able to the ring ceremony right in front of those recruits.
