Kicking is in question

Though this isn’t something that many people will pay attention to, this may be the only thing we are able to really judge just from looking at it.

Kicking is a major part of football.

The Tigers will be without Greg Huegel this year. Stepping in his place is sophomore BT Potter. Potter has a powerful leg and is, without a doubt, one of the best pure-talented kickers to step on campus.

However, he hasn’t been consistent so far.

Potter is capable of nailing 60-yard field goals, but Swinney has said that he has struggled at times in mid-range. The Tigers need a field goal kicker that can consistently hit and that is something I believe the coaching staff will continue to challenge Potter with as the spring progresses.
