Clemson football is in good shape with 5-star WR Julian Fleming, following the talented wide receiver’s visit to Tiger Town this past weekend.

The Clemson football team had a very talented list of visitors this past weekend. Highlighting that list was 5-star WR Julian Fleming.

Fleming, who has been trying to get on campus for a while, was able to make the trip to Clemson this weekend and, from all accounts, enjoyed his time.

He hasn’t said who his favorite is at this point, but it’s believed that Penn State and Ohio State are his leaders.

Thoughts:

Fleming is the consensus No. 1 wide receiver in the country and currently checks in at 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds.

That body type reminds me a lot of Clemson football freshman Joe Ngata. I think Fleming has a shot to be a player that comes in and earn playing time right away.

I know he is excited about the potential of playing with fellow 5-star DJ Uiagalelei- a talented California QB prospect that currently favors Clemson.

I think Uiagalelei committing to the Tigers would go a long way in potentially getting Fleming on board. It’s still a long recruiting process for Fleming and I expect him to take several more visits.

He is considering a top-six of Clemson, Penn State, Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia and Oregon. The key for the Tigers will be getting the talented prospect back on campus soon, hopefully later this spring or in the summer before he takes an official visit this fall during a home game.

Next. Tigers' elite offense will push defensive growth. dark
