2. Replacing the defensive line

When you lose all four starters and a key backup on a historically great defensive line, it’s basically impossible to replace that amount of productivity.

With that being said, though, the Tigers still have plenty of talent and depth to put together a solid defensive line that could develop into being elite.

You’ve got position battles with Xavier Thomas, Logan Rudolph, Justin Foster, KJ Henry and others at defensive end. And you’ve got Xavier Kelly and a bunch of freshmen vying for playing time at defensive tackle while expected starters Nyles Pinckney and Jordan Williams sit out the spring due to injury.

It’s going to be interesting to see how the Tigers are able to perform along the defensive line.
