Clemson Football: 5 Burning Questions for the rest of Spring 2019

3. Filling the linebacker spots

The Tigers lost two starting linebackers in Kendall Joseph and Tre Lamar, as well as a couple of guys with tons of experience in the Davis twins.

That means you’re going to have to see some of the young guys step up in the coming months to provide quality starting performance, as well as depth.

Right now, Jamie Skalski and Shaq Smith are penciled in as the starters alongside Isaiah Simmons, but that’s certainly not etched in stone.

The Tigers will continue to have healthy competition at the linebacker spot through the spring and that will probably continue through the summer and fall.
