Clemson football sits in good position for several prospects in the 2020 cycle. As a matter of fact, the Tigers could sign the top three in the class.

The 2020 Clemson football recruiting class has the potential to be one of the best in school history.

The Tigers have already signed several top 4-stars and have hosted the vast majority of elite recruits from around the country. Clemson football is still waiting to have a few more top 5-stars and 4-stars visit, which should be done by the end of this summer.

247 sports released its updated rankings on the top prospects in the country and, interestingly enough, the Tigers are in good position to sign each of the top three players in the country.

2020 Recruiting Top Prospects:

Currently, according to 247 sports, Bryan Bresee- a defensive line prospect from Damscus, Maryland- is the top prospect in the country.

Following Bresee is Jordan Burch, a defensive end from South Carolina, at No. 2, and talented quarterback DJ Uiagalelei at No. 3.

Would you believe that, at this moment, Clemson football leads for all three prospects?

That’s how good the Tigers are recruiting right now. Now, all three of these guys are a long way away from committing. Bresee is still considering Ohio State, Penn State and Georgia heavily while Burch is said to be considering Clemson and South Carolina.

Uiagalelei is said to be a heavy Clemson lean with USC, Oregon and a few other schools trailing behind.

Outside of the top three, the Tigers have interest from several other top prospects including WR Julian Fleming (No. 5); LB Justin Flowe (No. 6) and several others.

Next. Austin Bryant's draft stock shouldn't drop despite injury. dark

This could potentially be the best class in Clemson football history and I don’t think it’s really even that close. It will be interesting to see just how the Tigers’ coaching staff can close in on some of these guys and how their recruitment processes unfold as things really start to pick up.
