4. Wide Receiver

This position battle isn’t necessarily about who will start, it’s more about who will garner playing time.

The Tigers have proven that they’re going to play a lot of different guys at wide receiver and rotate athletes in-and-out. But, it is interesting coming into this year because Clemson football has one open starting slot- Hunter Renfrow’s position- and a ton of talented wide receivers.

I’m interested in seeing the competition between Tee Higgins, Justyn Ross, Diondre Overton, Amari Rodgers, Derion Kendrick, Cornell Powell, TJ Chase, as well as freshmen Frank Ladson, Joe Ngata and Brannon Spector.

It will also be interesting to see what receivers they put at the slot and what that could mean for the upcoming 2019 season.
