Greg Huegel and Alex Spence are going as place-kickers.
That means we’re going to see a little battle at kicker going forward with BT Potter expected to win the duty. I would expect the Tigers to bring on a walk-on- like Steven Sawicki- to test Potter and maybe even allow Will Spiers or incoming freshman Aidan Swanson to compete at the position.
In addition to Potter’s battle to win the place-kicking position, I’m more interested to see Will Spiers and Aidan Swanson compete at punter.
Swanson has a cannon for a leg and Spiers has been inconsistent at times. Could the freshman come in and win the job? It all starts with spring competition.
