3. Joe Ngata, 4-star WR

Comparison: Charone Peake

Now, I know that Charone Peake’s career didn’t go quite as most Clemson football fans expected, but you’ve got to remember that Peake was a 5-star prospect coming into Tiger Town.

Ngata looks a lot like Peake and plays the same way as what we saw with Peake’s high school film. The difference? I think Ngata is even more explosive and faster off the line of scrimmage than what we saw of Peake coming into Clemson.

Ngata has a big frame- 6-foot-3, 210 pounds- but is also an elite level athlete. He is able to go up and get the ball, as well as catch screens, make plays and take the ball the distance.

That’s really impressive and I think what we’re going to see out of Ngata is the career that many hoped Peake would have.
