Dexter Lawrence proved to be a dominant defensive tackle during his time with Clemson football. Here’s his NFL Combine profile and preview.

Clemson football has 11 players that were given invites to the NFL Combine in 2019.

The combine, which is scheduled to start Tuesday, February 26 and will run through Monday, March 4, tests players and gives scouts an idea of their skill sets, physical ability and mental capacity.

Over the next week, we will be giving you a profile on each of the Clemson football players who are participating in the NFL Combine.

We will start our series with talented defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence.

NFL Combine Profile:

Name: Dexter Lawrence

Height: 6-foot-4

Weight: 351 pounds

Draft Grade: mid-to-late first rounder

How will he perform?

Dexter Lawrence is going to be asked plenty of questions about the Ostarine that was found in his system. Because of that failed drug test, his draft stock has dropped- at least a little bit.

Lawrence has gone on the record saying that he didn’t intentionally take anything and all he can do when meeting with scouts is tell the truth. I believe him and have no reason not to.

I think scouts and upper management will like Lawrence and he will answer those questions. As far as the actual on-the-field skills, Lawrence will absolutely impress.

He is strong, but also athletic. Lawrence has all the tools and skills to be a successful two-down defensive tackle in the NFL. I think you’ll see him stay right around that mid first round projection following the combine.

dark. Next. Way-too-early redshirt watch in 2019

You’re not going to see him go much higher than No. 10, but I don’t believe you’ll see fall much lower than in the low-20s.

Overall, Dexter Lawrence will be one of the prospects that improves his draft stock in the NFL Combine. It should be fun to watch him participate in drills and I’d expect him to really impress scouts.
