Clemson Football: 5 returning offensive players who must step up in 2019

1. Jackson Carman

Jackson Carman perhaps has the biggest task ahead of him heading into the spring of 2019.

Carman will be attempting to replace Mitch Hyatt at left tackle. Carman, who is now a sophomore, will be tasked with being the starter at left tackle, protecting Trevor Lawrence’s blindside this coming season.

Carman could potentially move to right tackle, but either way he’ll be a starter at tackle this season.

It’s going to be important for him to step up and get comfortable in that role. The key for the Tigers’ success offensively will rest on that offensive line.
