Clemson Football: 5 returning offensive players who must step up in 2019

2. Derion Kendrick

Derion Kendrick saw plenty of playing time as a freshman. Kendrick played behind Amari Rodgers in 2018, but this year he’ll be playing even more.

I don’t think he’ll be listed as a starter, but Kendrick is going to play starter snaps in 2019.

With the lack of depth at wide receiver, the Tigers will be mixing in several four wide receiver personnel looks in 2019. That will include Justyn Ross, Tee Higgins, Rodgers and Kendrick, most likely.

It will be important that he continues to progress and shows off his explosive ability to get on the field and get touches.
