4. Joseph Charleston, 4-star S

Clemson needed to sign several safeties in this 2019 class and the Tigers did just that.

After the 2019 season, the Tigers will lose Tanner Muse, K’Von Wallace and Denzel Johnson off that position. That would only leave Nolan Turner.

Joseph Charleston is an elite talent. He was highly-touted and was the first prospect to sign with Clemson football in 2019.

I think he has a great chance to come in and make an impact right away. Currently, that two-deep is pretty set with Muse, Wallace, Johnson and Turner, but I think you could see Charleston work his way up into at least a co-backup role before it’s all said and done.
