Since Dabo Swinney took over the Clemson football program, we’ve seen several talented players come through and outplay their respective star-ratings.

The Clemson football coaching staff has been very good at getting elite talent to commit to the Tigers over the years.

They’ve also been very good at spotting potential diamonds in the ruff and recruiting guys that fit the system rather than who the recruiting services may say is the most talented player.

We all know that the coaching staff doesn’t even look at recruiting services, but in light of National Signing Day,  here are five Tigers that were vastly underrated coming out of high school and proved it on the field during their time at Clemson.

The rule for this list is that the player can’t currently be an active member of the Clemson football team. These rankings are according to 247sports.
