3. Mike Bellamy

Mike Bellamy came into Clemson rated as a 5-star by most services and a high 4-star by the others.

Bellamy, a freshman in 2011, was supposed to be the next CJ Spiller and certainly showed the tools early on. He was extremely explosive and a track-star. He could leave defenders in the dust and looked as if he could develop into a promising running back.

Early on, Bellamy struggled with holding on to the football. He fumbled several times, but the trade-off for the risk was the fact that he could take the ball to the house at any moment.

Bellamy was ruled academically ineligible for the 2012 fall semester and eventually ended up at East Mississippi Community College. He signed to play Canadian Football, but was released just a couple of months into his contract.
