4. Jamie Harper

Jamie Harper was a 5-star recruit by some services and a 4-star by others.

He was supposed to be an explosive running back with the ability to come in and be a workhorse for the Tigers.

Harper was promised the first carry for the Tigers in 2008 and fumbled.

He played as a backup for most of his career and his best season came during his junior year where carried the ball 197 times for 760 yards and three touchdowns. He averaged 3.9 yards per carry.

Harper chose to forgo his senior season and was drafted by the Tennessee Titans. He had a solid career with the Tigers, but never turned into that 1,000-plus yard rusher that people thought he had the potential to become.
