Clemson football has but one remaining target for the 2019 class. Here’s when 5-star RB Jerrion Ealy will announce his decision.

The 2019 Clemson football recruiting class is almost complete.

The Tigers currently have a total of 28 committed prospects. 17 of those have already enrolled on campus and 10 have signed National Letters of Intent.

3-star running back Michel Dukes committed to the Tigers this past weekend and will sign his National Letter of Intent Wednesday.

The only other player that Clemson is saving a scholarship for in the 2019 cycle is 5-star running back Jerrion Ealy. Ealy, a former Ole Miss commitment, will be making his decision Wednesday afternoon.

Here’s what to expect and where you can watch the decision.

Jerrion Ealy, 5-star RB

Decision Date: Wednesday, February 6. (National Signing Day)

Decision Time: 12:15 p.m. E.T.

Where to Watch: ESPN 2

Schools he is considering: Clemson, Ole Miss, Alabama and Mississippi State

Final Thoughts:

Ealy will be making his decision between Clemson, Ole Miss, Alabama and Mississippi State. In all truthfulness, I think it’s down to the Tigers, Rebels and Crimson Tide.

He has gone back and forth and, from what we’ve gathered, the Tigers are unsure if he will sign with them on Wednesday or not.

There’s not really a lean one way or another as of yet.

Perhaps the reason why is because the real competition for getting Ealy on campus- baseball- is the true favorite at this point for his services. Even though Ealy will commit to a school Wednesday, you won’t know if he’s actually ever going to be a part of your team until later this spring after the MLB Draft- where he is expected to be a first-round pick.

Next. 3-star RB Dukes will outplay his star-rating. dark

If Ealy does have a good spring and is drafted highly, he’d be turning down millions of dollars to come to college for at least three years to play both football and baseball. It will be interesting to see what he chooses long after National Signing Day has come to a close.

As far as favorites, I think Ole Miss has emerged as the school to beat as of right now.
