Saturday Down South, a popular SEC website, says it believes Clemson football is the real deal and that the Tigers are a threat to Bama’s dynasty.

The fallout from Clemson football’s dominant win over Alabama is great.

Since winning the National Title by a score of 44-16 a couple of weeks ago, the Tigers have gone from being a team that many analysts said couldn’t compete with Alabama to being the clear-cut No. 1 program in all of College Football.

Even the SEC faithful are joining in, harping the Tigers’ praises.

SEC website Saturday Down South posted an article just a couple of days ago asking if Alabama was vulnerable.

The article wasn’t talking about the 2018 team, either. It was discussing the possibility that the torch had been past from the Alabama Crimson Tide Dynasty to now the Clemson Tiger Dynasty.

It’s an interesting point.

The article basically came to the conclusion that Bama had competition, but that they were in no way giving up their spot at the top. The author pointed out that Nick Saban would give everything he had to getting the Crimson Tide back on top.

In the end, the article says that once we are removed from the moment, we’ll pretty much realize that Alabama is still the king of College Football, as they are recruiting at an insanely high level still and will now have extra motivation to get back and face Clemson football again.

I agree, to an extent.

I don’t believe that Nick Saban will allow Alabama to fall off the map. The Crimson Tide are going to continue to be a dominant program and I do believe that it’s Clemson, Alabama and then everybody else.

But, it’s in that order.

It’s Clemson, Alabama and then everybody else. It’s no longer the other way around. Saban will try to change that in 2019, but for now, the Tigers are the top program in the nation. And Clemson isn’t just a challenge to Alabama.

Clemson is the challenge to Alabama.

As a matter of fact, Bama is now the challenger. The Tigers are the undisputed champions looking to defend their title.
