How many more National Championships will Dabo Swinney win with Clemson football? Here’s our over/under numbers for the rest of Swinney’s career.

Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney has completely changed the Tiger program.

When Swinney took over the Clemson football program, the Tigers were in the midst of mediocrity. It took him some time, but Swinney continued to build and push toward the goal of “Best is the Standard.”

The players and recruits bought in.

Because of that, Clemson began to turn it around with several 10-win seasons. They boasted wins over LSU, Ohio State and Oklahoma in bowl games. After getting beat by South Carolina for five years, Swinney broke that streak and now has a five-game winning streak of his own against the Gamecocks.

In the past four years, Swinney has led Clemson to four-straight ACC Championships, four-straight College Football Playoff berths and two National Championships.

So, with that in mind, it brings up a good question. How many more National Titles will Swinney win in his time left with Clemson football?

He already has two. So, here’s the overall number for his career:

Over/Under: 5

If you were taking a bet on this, what would you say?

We’ve set the number at five total. Swinney already has two. In his career, does he go over that number of five or under the number?

In my opinion, it’s tough to say. It’s one of those things where you have to realize how hard it is to win a National Championship. Even with that in mind, though, I don’t think Clemson football is going anywhere with Swinney at the helm.

Next. Could an elite 2020 recruiting bond be forming?. dark

The Tigers are going to continue to recruit and perform at a high level. I believe Dabo certainly has the ability to win four more in his career and go “over.” I also will say this: If Clemson doesn’t win another National Championship under Swinney, he will still be the most successful coach in Tiger history.
