1. Where’s the confetti?

The best moment was seeing the Tigers celebrate following the win.

Seeing Clemson players take their jerseys off and reveal shirts that said “This is for Big Dex.” Seeing those seniors and upperclassmen realize that they still have one more game left in their collegiate careers.

That’s special.

A funny moment in that sequence, though, happened with freshman quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

Following the win and being named the Offensive MVP of the Cotton Bowl, Lawrence had an interview with ESPN in which he asked about the confetti. He said he would just have to wait until next week to get the confetti- a subtle little calling of the shot from the freshman.

Well, as part of the celebration, confetti was blasted off onto the stage where Clemson football players were and it was clear the young freshman was jubilant at the sight.
