2. The new guys

As many experienced veterans that Clemson football has in the CFB Playoff, there are also some new faces.

Neither Travis Etienne or Tee Higgins got much playing time last year in the loss to Alabama due to injuries.

Trevor Lawrence will be making his first start as a quarterback in the playoff. You’ll see Xavier Thomas, Justyn Ross, Derion Kendrick and several others get into the game for significant playing time.

While the Tigers will rely on their experience, those young guys may be the difference between a win and a loss.
