Clemson Football: 5 Storylines to watch vs. Notre Dame in Cotton Bowl

4. The Vegas Spread

The folks in Vegas know what they’re doing.

And for some reason, they think Clemson should be a double-digit favorite in the College Football Playoff matchup.

The Tigers were as high as 13.5-point favorites, but that spread has since dropped to 12.5 after the news of the suspensions.

It will be interesting, in my opinion, to watch and see if the spread trends more in Notre Dame’s favor down the stretch or if it stays put right at about 12.5.
