Clemson Football: Five 2019 signees who will play right away

1. Andrew Booth

If Trayvon Mullen declares for the NFL Draft, I think there’s a great chance you see 5-star Andrew Booth start from game one next year for the Tigers.

The cornerback is as physical as they come in the defensive backfield and plays with a ton of athleticism and speed.

No matter what he does- whether it’s on defense or special teams- he’s just really explosive. I love watching this kid’s film and there’s no way we don’t see Booth play a lot of snaps next year at cornerback for the Tigers.

He’s just too good not to be out there.

A guy that didn’t quite make the list, but will certainly have a chance at playing time as well is 4-star Sheridan Jones.

Jones is a physical defensive back and, especially if the Tigers were to lose a few of those veterans to the NFL Draft, he’d get a chance very early. The same could be said about 4-star safety Joseph Charleston.
