5. Tyler Davis

Let’s start with one of the most recent Clemson football commitments.

Tyler Davis, a 4-star defensive tackle, committed to the Tigers Wednesday during the Early Signing Day.

Davis is a bit undersized as a defensive tackle, but makes up for that in leverage, strength and athleticism. He is very talented and plays the position very well.

He’s going to have a chance to compete because the Tigers will be losing Christian Wilkins, Albert Huggins and presumably Dexter Lawrence from that defensive tackle rotation, leaving room for him to come in and add much-needed depth right away.
