The 2019 Clemson football recruiting cycle is coming to a close. Here are the targets left on the Tigers’ big board as we head into December.

The 2019 Clemson football recruiting cycle is in the top-five in the nation, according to most major sites.

The Tigers picked up big commitments from players like 5-star DB Andrew Booth, 5-star WR Frank Ladson, 4-star S Joseph Charleston and 4-star QB Taisun Phommachanh, just to name a few.

This class, scholarship-wise, is expected to be one of the biggest in the past few years for the Tigers. Currently, Clemson football has 24 commits.

That leaves just a couple more open spots, when you count the early enrollees, that the Tigers are waiting to hear decisions from.

In the end, I think Clemson will sign close to 30 in this class, perhaps a few less, but I think they’re waiting to hear from a few key prospects.

Here’s a look at some of the top priority targets for the Clemson football 2019 recruiting cycle big board:

2019 Priority Targets:

  • Quavaris Crouch, 5-star LB/ RB
  • Clay Webb, 5-star C
  • William Putnam, 4-star OG
  • Tyler Davis, 4-star DT
  • Jakai Moore, 4-star OG

Obviously, there’s a few other prospects we could add to this list, but this is the major players the Tigers are awaiting decisions from.

Clemson has already recruited heavily the positions it needed like defensive back, linebacker, tight end and defensive line.

The Tigers really could use another lineman or two on both sides of the ball. Right now, I think Clemson feels good about its chances of landing Tyler Davis, the 4-star defensive tackle. I also believe the Tigers are in the running for William Putnam and Quavaris Crouch.

Landing Clay Webb would be a huge steal out of the state of Alabama, but it’s certainly be done before. Jakai Moore seems more like a South Carolina/Penn State lean right now, but you never know.

We’ll continue to update recruiting here throughout the month of December and take a more in-depth look at this class, as well, here in the next few weeks.
