2. Dabo calls out the 1 percent

There’s always that one moment in every season where Dabo gets serious. When he does, Tiger nation listens.

That moment in 2018 came after Clemson had beaten in-state rival South Carolina 56-35 to finish 12-0.

No one knows exactly what set him off, although there was an article written by a Clemson media site with the title “A win that felt like a loss.”

Swinney told Clemson football fans that if 12-0 isn’t good enough, he should seek other places. It was a reality check and I think it really opened the eyes of Tiger fans and made many realize that they should be celebrating the wins instead of complaining about only winning by 21.
