Clemson Football: Looking back at the Tigers’ top 2018 freshmen
1. Trevor Lawrence
How can this list not be led by Trevor Lawrence?
The true-freshman came into this year as the second-string quarterback and earned the starting spot after four games.
Since then, he’s continued to progress and basically holds every single Clemson QB freshman record ever.
Lawrence finished the first 13 games completing 65 percent of his passes for 2,606 yards and 24 touchdowns to just four interceptions. He has a QB Rating of 154.0.
He was named the ACC Rookie of the Year.
I’ve really enjoyed watching Lawrence play and it’s clear that his arm has created a whole different dimension for the Tigers on offense. He’s become a leader and it’s amazing that he was able to be a part in leading the 2018 Clemson football team to an undefeated regular season, an ACC Championship and a CFB Playoff berth.
