Clemson Football: Looking back at the Tigers’ top 2018 freshmen

3. BT Potter

Many just don’t appreciate what BT Potter brings to the table.

The true-freshman has become one of the consistent kickoff specialists in the country. Potter hasn’t taken over as the field goal kicker yet, but his leg has certainly made a difference as a freshman.

Potter kicking the ball through the back of the end zone has led to the Tigers being able to basically guarantee that the opponents aren’t starting past the 25-yard line.

His leg has began to tire a bit as of late, but we shouldn’t forget the impact he’s made so far and how important he’ll be in the College Football Playoff run.
