5. The talent of the depth chart

The first reason is pretty obvious.

When you compare the two teams and their depth chart, you’ll notice something pretty quickly: Clemson is just the better team.

The Tigers have more depth and more talent at basically every single position. The Gamecocks have a few good play-makers- take Deebo Samuel for example- but they just don’t have the players to match up with Clemson across the field.
