The Clemson football team will play its final regular season game of the year Saturday night when the Tigers host the South Carolina Gamecocks in Death Valley.
Clemson will be going for its fifth-straight win over the Gamecocks and will be looking to complete a perfect regular season for the first time since 2015.
Here is our pick against the spread for the annual Palmetto Bowl.

The spread started out at 25 points and has since risen a point. The Tigers are 26-point favorites at home and most experts don’t really believe the game will be that close.
Clemson was slow getting going last week against the Duke Blue Devils, but the Tigers still covered a very similar spread.
This week, I don’t think Clemson gets out to a slow start. I think we see a crisp and clean performance as the Tigers look to take control of the game early. In the end, I’ll take Clemson to cover that 26-point spread and it very well may not even be that close.
The Tigers are just the more talented and the deeper team. I know South Carolina will come out looking to play spoiler, but I just don’t think the road environment with this Clemson football team will allow the Gamecocks to stay in the game very long.

Over/Under Prediction:
Honestly, that’s a pretty high total for this game. I’m going to take the “under” here. I think the Tigers score somewhere between the 40-50 range and the Gamecocks score between 7-14 points. I just don’t see how South Carolina is going to be able to find the end zone very often.
Maybe Jake Bentley and Deebo Samuel surprise me and they keep South Carolina in it, but I’m not expecting that right now. I’ll take the game to go under the total with Clemson’s defense being the major reason why.
