4. The Freshmen’s First Taste

There will be a ton of Clemson football freshmen that will get their first taste of the rivalry Saturday night.

Most notably, Trevor Lawrence.

Outside of Lawrence, though, Justyn Ross, Derion Kendrick, Xavier Thomas, BT Potter and a few others will all see playing time.

It will be fun to see their reaction to playing in the rivalry game and seeing what it’s like on the field. It will be especially meaningful for guys like Kendrick, Thomas and Potter who are from the state and have grown up with the rivalry.
