Clemson Football: 5 Storylines to Watch vs. South Carolina

5. Jake Bentley vs. Clemson defense

South Carolina hasn’t scored a touchdown in the first half against Clemson in the last two matchups. Although, Jake Bentley did throw a touchdown to a Clemson football player- if that counts.

Anyway, I’m interested to see how South Carolina’s offense matches up against Clemson’s defense.

The Gamecocks have some playmakers around Bentley, including Deebo Samuel and Shi Smith. It will be intriguing to watch and see what kind of yardage South Carolina can muster with Clemson’s defense full focused in on the task at hand.
