Clemson Football: 5 most hated Gamecocks of all-time

3. Connor Shaw

Since Connor Shaw left South Carolina, I think Clemson football fans have respected what he did on the football field.

Shaw was that guy that just didn’t lose to Clemson. He played his best games against the Tigers and was probably one of the best to ever play under Steve Spurrier.

For some reason, you could have the Gamecocks in a 3rd and 12 situation and he’d scramble for 13. He did things like that over and over and over again.

He played hard and just was able to get the best of those Clemson defenses. It was frustrating and that led to him getting under the skin of many Tiger fans, who still haven’t forgotten.
